Our company was founded by Mr. Rodriguez and his wife Mrs. Perez. Originally from the city of Culiacan, Sinaloa, they moved with their young daughter to the city of Mexicali in Baja California to seek better opportunities.
Mr. Rodriguez and Mrs. Perez quickly noticed that en Mexicali there were no tamales, which are a common type of food in the region they had moved from. Therefore, they quickly began to make samples of tamales, giving them to their friends and family to try. They did this in order to develop a tamale with the perfect taste, texture, and quality, something that did not exist in that region.

Then, in 1993, Mr. Rodriguez and Mrs. Perez started the company Tamales “La Sinaloense”. They invited customers to purchase our products, saying “If you don’t like it, you don’t pay,” making a great success, as not only did no customers leave without paying, they came back for more.
In 1999 the company moved its location of production to their hometown of Culiacan Sinaloa and began distribution to several cities throughout Baja, California. The company’s slogan became “season is the reason”. The name of the company was also changed to Tamales “Si Señor”.
Being on the border, many of our clients are from the United States. They are looking for authentic Mexican products with original flavor. Therefore, we detected a potential business opportunity and registered the trademark Mr. Señor in the United States in 2015 in order to market our products in that territory.
